Bonjour mes élèves. C'est votre classe de français. Nous allons travailler dur, apprendre beaucoup, parler français, et nous amuser. Les élèves de français sont intelligents, amusants, et créatifs. Commençons! Allons-y! |
For twenty-five years I have been teaching
French at Pine Crest School in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. Before that
I was teaching French at Satellite Beach High School in Satellite Beach,
Florida. Since I was raised in Iowa, many of my students wonder how
I became a teacher of French. Having studied Latin and French in
high school, I developed a love of language learning. I continued
to study French and began Spanish at Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa.
The summer of 1979 I lived with a French family in Angers, France, studying with Monsieur et Madame André Walther from the University of Northern Iowa. That summer along with their summer programs in Alsace and Bretagne furthered my love for la France et les Français. Since then, I have tried to impart my fondness for the language, people and culture to my students.
May I invite you to visit some interesting web sites from le monde francophone. Amusez-vous!
